Founded in 2015, PIZZAPIZZA was born from a passion for authentic Italian pizza and a deep appreciation for Canadian culinary innovation. Our founder, Isabella Rossi, spent years studying pizza-making techniques in Naples before returning to Canada with a vision: to create a neo-trattoria that honored traditional methods while embracing contemporary Canadian design and local ingredients.
What began as a small pizzeria with a single wood-fired oven has evolved into a beloved destination that blends the warmth of Italian hospitality with the clean, minimalist aesthetic of Canadian design. Our commitment to quality has never wavered — we still use the same 72-hour fermented dough recipe that Isabella perfected in Italy, now enhanced with premium Canadian flour.
Our custom maple wood-fired oven, hand-built by Italian artisans and adapted for Canadian hardwoods, stands at the heart of our restaurant. It represents everything we believe in: honoring tradition while embracing innovation, and creating something uniquely our own.
